Does s2member have the ability to track affiliate sales and commissions on its own without a plugin? If so, can you point me to how to figure that out.
If not, what's the best affiliate sales tracking plug-in that integrates well with s2member.
Our site is a membership site with checkout/joining going through s2member and payment processing through authorize.net.
Thanks! ss

Cristian. We're making a decision between wWeber and Mailchimp for the email autoresponder for our video membership website. Here's the beta URL: http://och.artifextech.com Actually, we've selected aWeber, but it's not to late to switch to MailChimp if there are advantages over aWeber. It sounds like Jason much prefers MailChimp in the s2member videos, and that further integration/development is being done with MailChimp which would make MailChimp the better option as time passes. What would you recommend... MailChimp or aWeber? Thanks!
I'd suggest MailChimp. It is the more powerful option of the two because of the API it has, which is better than AWeber's. The API is what other software, like s2Member, uses to communicate/use the service, so the better it is, the more things you can do. And Jason will keep improving the integration in the future.
All that said, if AWeber already does all you need and you like it better, that's fine too.
Thanks Cristian. Upon further research, I remember why we chose aWeber initially...
MailChimp doesn't have web form templates for us to use for opt-ins on our web pages.
Is this your understanding? I freakin' love everything I see about Mailchimp, and really want to use it, but we have to have opt-in web forms on our pages because we'll have affiliates who'll direct their customers to our squeeze pages... and we need opt-in forms there.
Is there another solution for creating opt-in forms that you know of? What are people using to design their opt-in forms if they use mailchimp? Is there a plug in that can be used for creating these that is good?
Thanks again, this conversation is very helpful to get to the bottom of all this.
Steve, are you sure you dont get a web form with MailChimp? I am not sure 100% what you are refering to, but look at my site, in that big yellow box, i integrated the optin from MailChimp. Is that kind of what you are looking for? http://scrapbookcampus.com/
Thanks Cristian and Cassel. I searched a bunch on mailchimp's site and couldn't find it as a feature, and read in forums how mailchimp doesn't do forms... turns out they do, eh? Wow, seems like they'd have the front and center in their features section.
