s2Member Cruft Left Behind After Plugin Removed
Posted: November 8th, 2011, 7:37 pm
I was playing around with s2member on one of my sites. I decided that it wasn't a good fit for this particular site, so I deactivated and deleted the plugin; however, I see that there is still some s2member cruft floating around in the wp_options table (and possibly elsewhere as well), specifically about user roles. I am very reluctant to remove this data manually in case there is a dependency somewhere that I am not aware of. I'd like to know the correct sql to execute in order to fully clean up my database and remove the s2 stuff out of there. This is showing up in admin menus when I want to assign a role to a particular user; it's quite annoying.
