s2member is behaving abnormally.

Allow Custom Passwords during Registration? -> has been set to-> no(send auto generated password after registration).

It was working fine.
It was not showing any password field at the time of registration, and it was sending auto generated password.

All of a sudden it started showing the password fields on the registration form

We have made no changes anywhere.
We went to admin panel and checked the settings, it is set to NO(send auto generated password after registration).

But the registration form is displaying password fields.

Tried deactivating and activating all the plugins. Its all the same.
Do you think that I should uninstall and again install the plugin, will that help.

But I believe that's not a permanent solution. Its for the time being. The same kind of problem happened before. There was no solid clue for it.
Its starts behaving abnormally all of a sudden.
Please help us so that we can fix the error permanently , as we are using this at a production level.

Hello,

s2Member uses the built-in WordPress registration process. Can you try disabling s2Member and then checking if you still have problems with the registration page?

If you still have problems even after disabling s2Member, then there is something wrong with your WordPress installation or with another plugin that is causing a conflict.

bazchas, is this the default WP registration page or a pro-form? What happens if you change the theme to the default TwentyEleven?
