Hi,

I'm using s2member on [url]exploringfoodandwine.com[/url].

How do I allow s2member to enable the registration page? I'm using multisite and buddypress.

Hi Chris.

Could you show me the log entries related to the transaction you had the problem with? (x'ing out any private info) WP Admin -> s2Member -> PayPal Options -> Account Details -> Enable Logging

Does it happen with every transaction or only some?

Are you paying from a blog in the multiste network and trying to create the account in another? What's the page you have the PayPal buttons in and what's the blog you want to create the account in?

So I got it working. I turned off multisite, and reinstalled s2member, deleting all old settings.

I can now complete a payment with paypal sandbox, and it brings me to the registration page. However, when I fill in the registration form and submit, it appears to send the form, then loads a blank page - screenshot attached attached -

And then there are no registration emails sent, no new account created.

Any ideas on this one? Happy to give someone login details to look at the backend...

Hmm... Could you post the related log entries x'ing out private info, please? WP admin -> s2Member -> PayPal Options -> Account Details -> Enable Logging

Interestingly, I did this twice with different email addresses within sandbox. One of them returned me to my site with a message saying "Check your email for confirmation". No email was in the sandbox inbox, but I know this can be faulty.

So I added a new account to sandbox, using a real email address. This time it just took me back to an s2member "You may now register page, with a button that I clicked and it took me to the exploringfoodandwine.com/register page. On filling this out, it seemed fine, but on clicking submit took me to the same blank page I complained about above.

I see, so the purchase went fine and you had the problem after submitting the registration form, right? That's BuddyPress' registration form, correct? Do you have other plugins that could be causing the problem because of a conflict? Try deactivating other plugins as a test to see if the problem goes away.

When using the sandbox no emails get sent, that's normal.

I have everything except s2member disabled.

I can now complete a payment with paypal sandbox, and it brings me to the registration page. However, when I fill in the registration form and submit, it appears to send the form, then loads a blank page - screenshot attached attached -

OK. So it sounds like you've got everything working properly, up to the point of registration, where for some reason you're getting a blank page. Your log files look just fine from my end.

I suspect this is related to a theme or plugin conflict. Perhaps there is a clash between WordPress/s2Member and your theme's functions. You might take a look at your Apache and/or PHP error log for errors that occur in PHP on this site. I would also run a test against the default WordPress theme to try to narrow it down to something more specific. If problems persist, please report back with your results and we'll take this a step further for you.

Hey.

I've disabled all plugins except s2 and buddypress, and set it to the default BP theme.

Still getting the same issue: paypal works fine, takes me back to site, click the "register now" button on the s2 page that loads initially, loads the registration form, on submitting it, get a blank page, with no account created.

Will attempt to get hold of apache/php errors, but don't have direct access to server root.
