Does s2Member Pro Forms remove the need for a shopping cart?

Not really. They're a checkout form, but there isn't a cart. You can add items to it to then pay them together at the end, if that's what you mean.
Does that answer your question?

Not entirely.
I am trying to figure out if I need to utilize a shopping cart application to facilitate the sales process, or if s2Member pro and Pay Pal Pro are enough to manage it for me.
My needs are relatively simple. I have one product that i sell, which is a monthly recurring membership to my site at $9.95, and would like to offer a 7 day free trial period.
So my question is...
Is the combination of s2Member Pro and Pay Pal pro enough to manage those transactions?
Thanks in advance,
Jason

Yes, in fact you can also do it with the free version of s2Member.
Here's a video link to the tutorial on how to do that:

Also remember to report back,
otherwise you leave me worrying.
