Restricting Category Access

I'm looking to restrict access to a specific category. Having added the category id for restricted access (level 1) i find that the category still shows along with any post titles for that category. However, the posts are protected. I could do with the category or titles not showing at all. The category is contained in the standard categories wordpress widget. Any help or suggestions appreciated - cheers!

Try the alternative views restrictions, you can find them under WP Admin -> s2Member -> Restriction Options -> Alternative View Protection ( please read ).

Hope this helps. :)
Also remember to report back.
Otherwise you leave me worrying. ;)

Thanks Eduan - in the alternative view protection i checked the 'nav menu' box and only the category heading shows now (so post titles removed). So some success - any thoughts on how to hide the category completely?
