Hi larrystick,
It sounds like a permissions issue on the server. It's possible the s2Member Plugin files have the wrong permissions and/or ownership.
Use FTP to check the permissions and ownership on a file for a working plugin (inside
wp-content/plugins/) and then compare those to the permissions and ownership settings for the s2Member plugin files.
How did you install the s2Member plugin? If you installed it using WordPress (
WP Admin -> Plugins -> Add New), then I suggest deleting the plugin and installing it via FTP (manually upload the s2member folder to
wp-content/plugins/; you can grab the s2Member ZIP file
here).
If you used FTP to install the plugin, then try installing it through WordPress.
Can you let me know that works?
