Too many custom capabilities

I recently upgraded s2member and I'm having several problems...

First, whenever I sell custom capabilities using a PayPal Pro Form, if a logged in member has already bought for example ccap1 and ccap2 and then goes and buys ccap3 later, shouldn't it add ccap3 to the others? I seem to remember before that it overwrote the original ccaps instead of adding them.

Second, is there a maximum length that can go in the ccap string on a PayPal Pro form? Some of my sales are not updating the ccap field.
