SERIOUS BUG!! pro form cookies(?) confuses membership levels

Hi,

I have found what I think is a REALLY serious issue with the pro forms / s2member plugin.

Here's the situation that showed up a weird and serious bug?:
1. user joins using s2member paypal button (not pro forms) to join paid level 1 as a certain member type.
2. - after this user joined, i refunded the paypal amount and the transaction ID was say "ABC".
3. - the user then joins the free (subscriber) level using s2member pro form and there must be cookies or something storing information on the paid transaction still and the user is AUTOMATICALLY joined as the paid level 1 instead with the transaction ID from paypal showing "ABC" (which was refunded a while ago) and all the other custom field and capabilities reading like the paypal button fields (from step 1)!!

this is a serious bug!? you can't have a member refunded then join the free level and automatically get the paid level due to what i assume are cookies on the paypal ID?

can you please have a look at this ASAP!? i think its a really bad bug!

i'm using Version 111029 + s2Member Pro v111029

i know its not the latest version but i doubt this has been picked up before?

hi,

i should say that the browser used by the user was internet explorer, in case your cookie code / cookie expiry is the issue... i haven't tested this on other browsers yet but hopefully you can replicate it on other browsers to confirm this issue.
