hello,

need help on this, if i set up s2 member with paypal payment option on my membership site , will it work if i set up paypal to sell products as well on my site ? i am not sure how it work & the setup , say people click to buy products on a sale page instead of joining the memberhip through s2 member, they will redirect to the auto return url which i already set up for the s2 member plugin. will s2 member controls everything as well, like sending people the same email i set up for the membership site ? when people just buy products , i don't want they go through the auto emails i set up for the membership site . if i create paypal buttons through paypal site instead of through s2 member plugin menu , will it work ?

thanks

So your question is if you can sell products? Not just level and page access?
If not please make yourself a little more clear.

yes , i mean to have a product sale page within the site as well as running a membership within the site secured by s2 member. i don't know how unless i use a different payment processor to handle product sale and s2 member to handle membership signing .......any thought?

Well, you can use specific post/page access, so you can sell access to a page that has the download link for that product or something like that. See this video for more information: http://www.s2member.com/specific-posts-pages-video/

Or you can sell custom capability access, which will let you to do more complete things but it may require some PHP knowledge. See this video for more information: http://www.s2member.com/custom-capabilities-video/

OK, they're not really hard, just something to keep in mind.
