Open Registration set to "No" but is not working

Hello, I have open registration set to "No" but I am able to register a new user with no restrictions and not paying. Also, the user I register can access my members area page with no problems. I tried to fix this by placing a level restriction on the page via page restrictions by identifying page id. This did not work for me either. I took a look at what kind of user it was assigned which was a subscriber. I wasn't able to find any info in the forums on this particular issue so it makes me wonder if Im the only one that has had this problem. If anyone could help it would be highly appreciated. The only other info I think may be relevant is my plugins. I am using OptionTree and ScrollToTop. Thanks in advance.

Eric

Are you using the Pro version?
I need to know this in order to know more-or-less a solution.

No sir, but I will upgrade once I get my project off the ground. Roughly a week from now.

OK, have you set up everything under WP Admin -> s2Member -> General Options and under WP Admin -> s2Member -> PayPal Options?
If you haven't set up everything under those then set them up please.

You can check the following videos on how to do that:

I really appreciate you taking the time to handle my posts. After looking over my paypal options I saw there were a few things I missed. I am truly sorry to have taken your time for me not being thorough. That was the best support I have ever seen. Thanks again. The best of luck to your company. I will definitely upgrade soon! :)
