Download Not Working on FF and Chrome

I searched the forums and couldn't find anything about this so I apologize if it is a repeat question. I am helping a friend set up her WP blog and we are using the S2 Member plugin (free). I first tested it all on my own test blog (hosted by HostGator) and it all worked 100% with no problems. So now I have put it all on her blog and we are having a problem with the downloads. I have the plugin set up the same as it was on my test blog. All the PayPal info has been added etc. When we try to click the link when logged in as a member we get errors in Chrome and Firefox but it will download in IE. In Chrome it says *This webpage not available*. In Firefox is says *Corrupted Content Error*. We have talked with the host (FatCow) and they said it isn't an issue on their end. So we are now at a loss as to what the problem can be. Here are some of the server details...

Platform Type:
Debian
MySQL Version:
5.1.56
Perl Version:
5.8.8
PHP Version:
5.2.12

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for your time!

I am not sure if this helps or not but I just tried it in Safari and it will download there. So it seems to be just getting errors when downloading in Chrome and Firefox. It downloads like normal in IE and Safari. I am really at a loss as to what could be causing the issue. Thanks again!

Hmm... Odd.

Here are a couple of hacks Jason posted a while back to help with a download problem (different one, but we can try):

I hope it helps. :)
