I have created several buttons within the S2 Member PayPal Buttons area. Every button I create always gives me this error

I'm not sure what I am doing wrong.

Are you using the shortcode version of the button? Or the long version right below the shortcode?
If you're using the long version then I suggest you install the plugin called Exec-PHP, since the code may sometimes contain some PHP.

The problem with the long version would be that it isn't encrypted, so it'd be easy to edit by the buyer.

I think this may be a shortcode parsing problem caused by your theme or another plugin.

Could you, as a test, change to the default theme and try the button again? If that still doesn't work, deactivate other plugins one by one and try after each to see if the problem goes away. Once you found the one causing the problem, you can contact the developer to request it gets fixed, or see if you find a alternative for it.

Now I've tried everything and it still gives me the error. Is there a way that I can go into PayPal for the time being and create buttons that provide at least 2 levels?

You can create buttons over at PayPal following these instructions so they are integrated with s2Member viewtopic.php?f=36&t=309#p1333

I hope that helps. :)
