Does S2Member work with PayPal Advanced?

Does S2Member work with PayPal Advanced (in addition to PayPal Standard and PayPal Website Payments Pro)?

PayPal Advanced is a relatively new product offered by PayPal. The biggest difference is that the monthly fee for PayPal Advanced is only $5 per month instead of $30 per month (for PayPal Website Payments Pro). Also PayPal Advanced uses PayPal's gateway to send the payment through, so no SSL is required. It uses an iFrame that is placed into the website theme so it keeps the customer on the site without going out to "PayPal.com."

Anyhow, I was curious if your application allows to accept payments using PayPal Advanced? If not, how soon might you add this functionality.

PayPal added this around August of 2011.

Please let me know.

Thanks,

Hmm... I'm afraid s2Member may not be ready for it yet. I haven't heard of that service until now and I can't say that s2Member will integrate with it as it is without the Lead Developer looking and saying so. I'm emailing him now. Thanks Gary!

Thanks for the heads up on this thread.

Yes, we do have plans to integrate this and also PayPal micro-payment processing.
See: https://www.x.com/developers/paypal/pro ... s-advanced

Support for these aspects of PayPal will come in a future release of s2Member Pro.

If you don't mind my asking, when you say "a future release" can you give me any type of estimated eta, such as within 30 days, 60 days, 90 days, 6 months, etc.??

Thanks,
Gary
