Protecting Parent and Children

Hi There Everyone,

I am fairly new to the s2Member plugin, so I am not yet skilled enough to offer support for problems that other people are experiencing, however, a couple of my clients wish to use this plugin so I am now in the process of learning all about it.

One question I have right now: If I have a parent page, with several children, is it possible to protect both the parent and children with only ONE setting somewhere?

Many Thanks
Zach

I'm sorry for the delay.
You see, the forum is very large, and there are only 2-3 support members and Administrators, so if you could please be a little more patient I'm sure they will get to you.

Sorry, and thanks for your comprehension.

Hi Zach. :)

No, protecting a page doesn't automatically protect its childs. You'll have to protect each one.

If you add a plugin to tag pages, then you could tag those pages in bulkk and try using the Tag restriction. WP Admin -> s2Member -> Restriction Options -> Tag

Another thing you could try is using the URI restriction on the parent page's slug. E.g. /parent-page/. WP Admin -> s2Member -> Restriction Options -> URI

I hope this helps. :)
