CAn members have multiple memberships at the same time?

Hi there,

I have an educational site and am considering using ScholarPress's CoursePress to create my courses along with s2member to control access to those courses.

I need students to be able to enroll in different courses at the same time.

I've been reading the s2member forums, and I understand how to create as many different memberships as I need, but I'm still not clear if my students will be able to take more than one course at a time if I use the CoursePress/s2member scenario.

I'd also love to hear from anybody who has used BuddyPress/CoursePress /s2member together, and what your experience was like.

I don't have experience with that, but, you could use Custom Capabilities in order so that to control the access you can sell different products with no single one allowing access to the others without paying for them.

I've been looking at a lot of different membership plugins, and it seems like a lot of them don't support a user having multiple memberships at once.

I've watched the Custom Capabilities video a couple of times. I'm still not entirely clear if s2member will allow a user to have multiple memberships.

Does anyone know for sure?

By membership do you mean a recurring payment subscription? s2Member can only do one subscription at a time, it still can't do multiple independent subscriptions.

If you sold the courses as one-time payments, that can be done. You could sell each as a custom capability with a Buy Now button.
