Hi

Is it OK that I include the "Specific Post-Page" Pro-Forms DIRECTLY on the Product's pages that I want to sell rather than redirecting people to the Membership options, or any other page ?

Thank you

Hi Phil13700,

When you sell a Specific Post/Page, that Post/Page needs to first be protected by s2Member (WP Admin -> s2Member -> Restriction Options -> Specific Post/Page Access). When a visitor purchases access to that page, they receive a special link that allows them to access the page.

Since the post/page is protected by s2Member, there won't be any way for a visitor (who hasn't yet purchased access) to see the Pro Form on that page (to purchase access).

However, what you can do is set up a special purchase page for each product and then redirect from the Membership Options page to the special purchase page whenever someone attempts to access that product.

Please see this post for more details on how you can accomplish this: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=14947&p=53487&hilit=+Membership+Options+redirect#p53487

Thank you, I understand,
but this is not exactly my situation :

I have a PAGE containing a video player which is MY PRODUCT, and as you said, I protected it using the Restrictions for Specific Post/pages. (Also, if possible, I'd like to offer a Download link (for this same video) on the same page, or by email.)

However, this page is a noindex/nofollow, and I will never link to this page using the Navigation menus ... So The URL of this page is a "secret URL", protected by S2Member, where I redirect people after purchase.

The way they purchase it is via a POST (article) where I have a Teaser (video Preview) of my Full Product.

So My Question is : is it OK to insert the Specific Post-page Form on my ARTICLE page directly (this page is not protected) ... And then, after purchase, they will receive the URL of the hidden and protected PAGE ...

WHat so you think ?

Thank you for the clarification.

Yes, you can include the Pro Form on a regular post as you described. When someone fills out the form to purchase full access to the video, they will receive an email with a link to the protected page, where they can then watch/download the full video.
