IPN w/Proxy Key

It states:
The following separation of GET/POST variables must occur.

GET variables:
s2member_paypal_notify=1
&s2member_paypal_proxy=[proxy-gateway] ( whatever yours is called )
&s2member_paypal_proxy_verification=[string provided in IPN Proxy section of Paypal setup]

POST variables:

Does this mean I can give it whatever name I want to [proxy-gateway]?

Is there a video tutorial or an actual example that is shown on how to do this integration?

Hi merchant,

Yes, you can replace [proxy-gateway] with whatever you like (e.g., "&s2member_paypal_proxy=MyGateway"). Whatever you use there will appear in the IPN log. It will also be stored by s2Member as the Customer's Paid Subscr. Gateway.

I don't believe there is a video that explains this, as usage of the IPN w/Proxy Key feature would be very specific to whatever scenario it's being used in.

what would really help is a step by step video of how to set this up. s2Member has a wonderful collection of videos on lots of things but this is one of the crucial items where we get paid. Instructions (step by step) or video including how we can test this would be very useful. Now I am struggling to get this to work and is very frustrating.

I can understand your frustration and I will be sure to pass along your video request to the developer. :)
