s2Member and s2Member Pro use cookies to track purchases made by customers. Data in cookies created and used by s2Member is always encrypted. In addition, none of the information stored by s2Member is personally identifiable. s2Member uses cookies to store encrypted access keys, encrypted transaction and/or subscription IDs, and specific details related to what was purchased during checkout.
A default WordPress installation stores encrypted data containing the customer's username and session information. But again, this information is NOT personally identifiable.
* s2Member also tracks User/Member IP addresses, which should be disclosed in a privacy policy.
