[Solved] Invoicing Feature?

Hi,

I know that there are fields in S2member plugin that contain the invoice number and ID and such. I haven't made a test purchase yet, and I was wondering if some of these features are available to users who made the purchase.
- Would there be invoices provided to the user if requested? If not, can you suggest a WP invoice plugin that works with S2member?
- Would there be reminder for recurring payments?
- How can I customize the payment process to include a few more stuff? (like I want to the user to be able to choose what domain name they will purchase, and so on?)

Hi Angela,

I believe reminder notifications for EOTs (End of Term) is a feature in the works, but it is not currently an s2Member feature.

Customizing the payment process: If you're referring to collecting additional data during the checkout process, this can be done with Pro Forms (which comes with s2Member Pro). Using Pro Forms allows you to create multiple registration/profile fields that can be made required during checkout.

Regarding the invoices: s2Member is a membership plugin and while it has features that allow it to be used like a shopping cart (for example, you can create Buy Now buttons to sell access to a specific Post/Page), it's primary functionality is built around that of providing membership access.

I do not currently know of any WP invoicing plugins that are compatible with s2Member, but if you just want to provide a unique ID for the transaction to your member, the PayPal Subscription ID can be shown to your users using the s2Member S2MEMBER_CURRENT_USER_SUBSCR_ID constant.

I am interested in having a payment option for customers to be invoiced via email rather than using a CC processing service or gateway. They could pay by check, use credit cards through Paypal standard each month or setup some other type of payment option. I don't want to incur monthly fees for Paypal Pro and some customers may not want to create their own Paypal or Google accounts to deal with recurring payments.

Thanks Martin
