Possible Bug

Postby Pastor Lane » January 4th, 2012, 4:06 am

Hello,

I'm using S2 v.111220 and WP v.3.3.1

I'm experiencing the following issues:

1. Quick-Start, Multisite, General Options and Restriction Options pages are not displaying properly (there are no toggle menus. Text just runs together.)
2. The Generate Button Code (for PayPal) is not functioning.

I've deactivated all plugins ( as per: http://www.s2member.com/options-page-di ... ing-video/), still no change.

I've checked and found the following errors:

1. SyntaxError: Unexpected token '<'
2. Can't find variable: ws_plugin__s2member_paypalButtonGenerate

I tried to delete and reinstall, same result.

Is there a fix?

Thanks,

Could you please try changing your theme to the default one and then clearing your browser's cache.

It might just be that.

Please tell me how it goes.

Hi Pastor Lane,

Another user recently had a similar problem and he discovered it was a problem with the configuration of his web host's server: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=16570

I haven't had the opportunity to investigate this further on a site where I have full access, so I'm not exactly sure what might be misconfigured on the server.

Thanks Raam Dev for the reply.

FYI... I have another site on the same server utilizing S2 and not having this problem.

Thanks

Have you tried switching to the default TwentyTen theme, then logging out of WordPress, clearing your browser cache, and restarting your web browser?

Raam Dev,

Yes to all of your questions. Same result. Even tried a different browser. No change.

Pastor, could you try deleting the s2Member directory and reuploading it via FTP making sure all files transfer properly? Remember to make sure the safeguards are enabled first. WP Admin -> s2Member -> General Options -> Deactivation Safeguards
