Free VIP membership with Aweber integration

I have spent considerable time looking thru posts and watching the tutorial videos, just to find out if this plugin will even work for my purpose...and I still can't tell for certain. Would really appreciate if someone can help me cut to the chase on this. Here's what I'm trying to do:

1. Dev site: http://66.147.244.78/~freeshor/alexarealestate/
2. Client wants to have a "members only" section of the site, and membership is free.
3. The members only pages must be protected, ie, members must login to view those pages.
4. Login for public must be integrated with current theme totally.
5. Client does not have paypal account, nor does he want it, as he is not ever going to charge members to sign up. Hence, it is not acceptable to require people signing up to do it via any sort of paypal page. Registration must take place on client's site.
6. Registration must be integrated with client's Aweber list, ie, when a site visitor signs up, he will also be added to the aweber list and receive a confirming email for the aweber list.
7. In a nutshell, site visitors should be able to register for the "members only" pages while on the site, with the result being that they now have access to protected pages and are also added to aweber list to receive client's newsletter. New members should also get email confirming login details, username and password.

Will the s2member plugin make this possible?

If so, where is the most clear and concise description of how to accomplish the above?

Hi dbellmaine,

Yes, s2Member Pro can easily do everything you described. The free version of s2Member doesn't have the Pro Forms feature, which is what you'll need to create a Free Registration form that also subscribes the user to an AWeber list.

PayPal is absolutely not required to set up a site using Free Registration with s2Member.

Number 4 on your list ("Login for public must be integrated with current theme totally.") really depends on your site theme. Most themes work fine with s2Member, but you might want to play around with the free version of s2Member to make sure the theme is compatible.

s2Member Pro includes a Pro Login Widget that can be used in any widget area of a theme.
