Is it possible to customize the PayPal return URL?

Postby blogjunkie » January 11th, 2012, 6:35 pm

I want to direct my members to a welcome page after they complete setting up PayPal recurring payments. Is there a way for me to customize the return URL? I only need it to be site wide, not a per-membership level basis. Thanks!

Have you tried the success="" attribute? It only comes with the Pro version of s2Member.

You can find it under WP Admin -> s2Member -> PayPal Pro-Forms -> Shortcode Attributes -> success="".

Hope this helps. :)

Thanks Eduan. At the moment I don't have s2Member Pro. Buying it is not a problem, but changing the forms on my site *after* I have just set them up is. I wish Primothemes had a detailed comparison page between the free and Pro version so I could have realized this from the start.

Do you know if I'm able to bypass the Mailchimp opt-in confirmation email with s2Member Pro? If it is then maybe there's enough motivation for me to re-do my site setup.

You don't need to change any form, you just need to add that value to the PayPal button or pro-form and it will redirect them to that page after the purchase is completed.

What forms are you referring to by the way?

Hope this helps. :)

Oh ok, that's probably less work than I thought it might have been. Thanks!
