specific post for sale query

Hi we have our level 1 members set up as paid for subscribers (all fine) and then yesterday we tried to sell access to a specific post. It seems to work fine for people who pay for access by the paypal button, but level 1 members cannot access the post and I assumed they would be able to? Have i missed a setting? (admin can access the post when logged in but now level 1 members)

by the way i don't THINK there is a conflict set up. on the post which is for sale we just have "

Hello,
That is the correct behavior. If you protect a page for Specific Post/Page access, everyone MUST purchase access to that page (or be provided with an access link that you've generated in WP Admin -> s2Member -> PayPal Pro Forms -> Specific Post/Page Access Links) before they can gain access to that post/page, including users with a Membership.

Many thanks for the clarification. I fudged it by creating a copy of the page for members
