So after some researching it looks like s2Member does most of the things I need but I would like to add gift type options such as https://secure.wnyc.org/epledge/
Would it be possible to mimic the functionality on the https://secure.wnyc.org/epledge/ page with the plugin?

Would a custom registration field help you with that?
