I have seen where pay pal can be set up to let users just pay with their credit card and not have to get a pay pal account. Is this possible with S2member?

Sure.

If you're using the free PayPal Standard you can only do it with one-time payments, for recurring you'll need Enhanced Recurring Payments or PayPal Pro.

I've created a button using the one time, one month access, non-recurring option ins S2 ... but using the button and selecting the pay by credit/debit card forces the option of creating a Paypal account.

What is the correct way to create a Paypal button for non-recurring charge without requiring a Paypal account such as you describe?

Thanks ...

When you're creating the button, in the first field you'll enter the ammount to charge and right under it is a dropdown to specify the frequency of the charge. Since it's a one-time payment, go down the list to the options under the heading PayPal (Buy Now) and select one of those. Then fill out of the rest of the form and post the short code in your page.

When someone clicks the button, he'll be taken to PayPal, where they can login to their account if they have it, but also choose to pay with a card without an account. Right under the login form, you'll see this line:

No PayPal account? Pay using your credit or debit card.

Let me know if that helps you. :)
