IPN Integration and PDT

As i keep following the instructions for Paypal options, and when trying to fill in all the information needed, when i go to the Integrated Payment Notification, i am kind of puzzled because there is already one. In fact, i have an online store totally separate from the site i am installing s2M on. So, how do i get TWO IPN (if i can)?

I have the same issue with the PDT, where i already have a return URL from my store. How do i add one for my membership site?

Anyone knows? I dont want to mess around with the IPN and PDT i already have for my other business. Can i have 2? If so, how?

I'm pretty sure you can, but am not sure how. I'll check with Jason and get back to you, OK? :)

In the meantime, here's a thread where other members shared how they did something similar. I don't know if their tips will work for you, but thought you may want to know about that. viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1137

If you try something that works, please let me know! :)

Thank you. I posted on that thread. Now, i am just worried because if i messed up something in the initial store setup, i might not know, and i cannot yet test the s2Member setup .

I can understand your concern.

Well, you could make a test purchase in the other store and then buy a test membership with s2Member and see if both work.

I could but i cannot use my paypal to buy from myself. I would have to ask someone else to pay something!
Well, as mentioned in the other thread, it looks promising. And my s2Member cannot yet be used as my site is not yet completed for membership "inclusions/exclusions" of pages. I'll update the thread when i find out (hopefully, when everything works fine :) )

Cool. Looking forward that that. If you need help along the way, let us know! Hopefully Jason will log in tonight and shed some light over this kind of PayPal configuration. :)

By the way, do you have it set up so that only those with a PayPal account can buy from your store? Don't you have a link to pay with a card?

So far, my store is only taking Paypal, no cc. Although, i was told that with a business account, i might be able to do it but i never set it up. In 3 years of having that store, i was asked only once if i was taking other than Paypal as a payment option. Since was not able to, the customer used her husband's paypal account and still completed the purchase, so i never rushed into looking at those other options.
