What's the best way to collect physical address information upon registration or purchase? I need them for some of my members so that I can send them continuing education certificates.
I thought I had it set-up to collect during the registration by adding custom fields but that is not happening. I am using S2Member Pro, but I only have a regular business paypal account, not PayPal Pro.

Hi Ryan.
Well, the best way I think would be the custom registration fields, as you mentioned.
Do they not show up in the registration form or what is the problem? Feel free to share screenshots that may help us understand where the problem is.

According to a post by Jason I can change ns="1" to ns="2" in the shortcode and paypal will collect the shipping address....I had several sales after doing so (one of my affiliates just sent out an email blast) and it appears to be working.
cheers! - Ryan

Is there a way to collect this information AFTER they register in their profile account?
For example, I want the user to update their address, create a bio, add their aweber listname, and upload their photo. How do I do that without having them enter all of this info on the registration form?
I'd like to keep the registration easy.
Thanks!

You'd need to create the custom fields and set them to not show during registration.
Go here
WP Admin -> s2Member -> General Options -> Custom Registration Fields. Create a new field and look at the option labeled
Allow Profile Edits.
Also make sure the field is not required.
I hope that helps you.

s2Member doesn't do that, but maybe this plugin does what you need?

Cool. I just added it although it adds it to the standard "profile" page. There a way to add it to the "standalone" ?s2member_profile=1 page?

There probably is. You'd need to look into the code of both plugins to find the way.
s2Member provides lots of hooks for developers to use when customizing their installations.
WP Admin -> s2Member -> API / Scripting -> s2Member API / WP Hooks & Filters
