I was troubleshooting some bugs and deactivated s2Member. When I reactivated it all my settings were wiped out! This is not typical plugin behavior. I lost a lot of configuration work here. Will this happen every time?

I should also mention that deactivating/reactivating fixed the bug, where "subscriber" roles would be redirected to some weird page when they logged in (or clicked my profile).

I'm sorry that you lost your settings. This must be because you didn't have deactivation safeguards enabled. WP Admin -> s2Member -> General Options -> Deactivation Safeguards.



So you don't have that unwanted behaviour anymore after de/re-activating the plugin? Then probably the previous setup had something odd and now you did it better.
