Changing CSS for Shortcode on Paypal Pro form page

Is there a way to comment out or change the CSS formating of the shortcode description for member registratin pages:
For example, Level 1 membership has the folowing shortcode in the Wordpress page:
[s2Member-Pro-PayPal-Form level="1" ccaps="" desc="Initial membership fee is $165.00 (including $50 joining fee) / yearly renewal fee is $115.00 AUD" ps="paypal" cc="AUD" ns="1" custom="www.xxxxxxx.org" ta="165.00" tp="1" tt="Y" ra="115.00" rp="1" rt="Y" rr="1" accept="paypal,visa,mastercard,amex,discover,maestro,solo" accept_via_paypal="paypal" coupon="" accept_coupons="0" /]
I would like to change the font that the "desc" text displays to make it blend better with the site.
I saw this post which seemed to offer a solution, but when I tried it I got a php parse error.

Any ideas would be great.
