will not pprotect a page

Hello,
I installed s2 on my one blo and it is working flawlessly.


last weekend, I installed s2 on a different blog. On this new blog, it does not protect the home page.

I have compared and the settings are exactly same on both blogs --one works and other does not. I have reinstalled, still it does not work. Ironically, on the blog where it does not protect the page, it does protect posts.

Under page restriction, all is filled in.

I do not know how to find the id of the home page. I have installed your id plug in, it tells me id of other pages but not the home page.

PLEAE HELP, I AM PULLING MY HAIR OUT
