I am trying to set up Specific Post/Page protection to sell products on my site. However, when I write in the details, and press the 'generate button code' nothing happens. Help?

Oh, and neither is the 'auto-generate' security encryption key.

Which browser are you using?

I'm using Chrome. To my knowledge, I have all of the paypal info correctly set up... but yes, when I press either of those buttons, nothing happens (same with all the buttons on the generate pp button page)

We've been unable to reproduce this bug so far.
Tested in Google Chrome v5.0.375.99 on Windows Vista.

If you continue to have this problem, you might try testing it in Firefox. If it still exists in Firefox, it is most likely NOT a browser issue, but rather it has something to do with a plugin conflict in your WordPress installation. Some plugins inject JavaScript into the admin panels. If some of those routines contain even the slightest error, it could render other JavaScript routines invalid. Try disabling other plugins until the problems go away, in an attempt to pinpoint the offending plugin.

I'm using Firefox 3.6.8 in Windows XP.

I've got exactly the same problem- the Generate button is not working (nothing happens when I clicked it).

If it is a plug-ins conflict issue, then I suspect the plug in could be the Disqus plug-in. I haven't actually tested it by disabling the Disqus plug-in (because it would break the commenting system on my site).

i have the same problem. 'auto-generate' security encryption key not working.

Unfortunately I have the same problem. i tried chrome, firefox and IE on windows 7. I created a subdomain website where s2 member is the only activated plugin and I still can't get the auto generate security encryption or generate paypal button to work. This is very frustrating.
