Specific Post/Page link generator not working

When I generate a link manually for the Paypal Specific Post/Page Link generator, I get the link, but when I click on the link, I get this message:
503: Sorry, file downloads are not enabled yet. Please contact Support for assistance. If you are the site owner, please configure `s2Member -> Download Options`.

When customers buy the link, their automatic links work and they can download the product. It's only when their links expire and I want to extend it for them, or if someone didn't get their email with their link, then I have to generate a new one, that this issue comes up.

Please help. Thanks.

Jason, please note that prior to today the links were working with no issues and I've not changed any configured scripts today so I'm not sure where to start configuring again.

Hi there... I can't speak for (mrsshopper), but I can tell you this:

This error "503: Sorry, file downloads are not enabled yet", is triggered whenever you create a Download Link, before you've configured downloads. Meaning, you MUST configure at least one of the Levels inside: s2Member -> Download Options -> Basic Download Restrictions

This is a security feature. If you've not configured downloads,
s2Member will NOT even allow this functionality to be used on your site.

Possible solution:
Under Basic Download Restrictions, just pop in some general configuration parameters:
100 files every 30 days ( or something along those lines )

Ah. Then it's a different issue. I'm getting the following error:

503: Service Temporarily Unavailable Too many IP addresses accessing one secure area! Please contact Support if you require assistance.

Disabling the plugin allows the user to log in.
