Is this possible?

Hi,

I have a site that needs to give members access to one page and for those members to be able to edit that page, ideally from the front end.

Is this possible with this plug-in?

Ideally the members need to register and have an admin approve their registration before they can access the page. They don't need to pay for their membership.

I thought I'd be able to do this with S2 Member but I'm having trouble doing so. I've installed Capabilities Manager and User Role Editor but I can't seem to get them to work with a specific page.

Any help greatly appreciated!

Have a look at the formidable forms plugin, I think it will do what you are looking for. It is rather amazing.

Thanks, not sure how this helps though?
On the face of it that plugin just appears to be a form creator.

I need users to be able to edit a page and nothing else. :?

I think if you take a look at the pro version it will do even much more than you can imagine.
It can allow users to both create a page and also edit it through a form on the front end.
Its like 20 plugins in one.
Support is great too.

This is not something s2Member does. I'd have suggested trying User Role Editor, but you already did that.

This video may help you with having a page for each user http://www.s2member.com/client-portals-video/

You can have open registrations with s2Member, althought it doesn't have a moderation queue to approve/activate the accounts by an admin. WP Admin -> s2Member -> General Options -> Open Registration / Free Subscribers

You can always go to the users list and close the accounts you want, though. WP Admin -> Users
