Hi,

I tried to import a list of members in a csv file, it says import successful but no user has been added.

I exported the list to use the same csv file. am I doing something wrong?

Are you using s2Member Pro's import feature?

Did you format the CSV to import the proper way? Here's the documentation WP Admin -> s2Member -> Import/Export -> Import.

Let me know if that helps.

Yes, I am using s2Member Pro, and used the same document I exported, just added a new test member and deleted the existing data on the form (I kept the header) and saved it as CSV.

Did I miss something?

No, you seem to have done fine. And the new user you imported doesn't show up in WP Admin -> Users?

Thanks. :)

OK, try enclosing the values between double-quotes: "value","value"; instead of: value, value.

Also, pay attention to any errors/messages you get at the top of the import page after importing. If you're adding a new user, don't give it an ID or use an exisiting username/email address, if you want to edit an exisiting one use the correct ID for him.

Let me know if that helps.

Cool it worked, however when I opened it and added more info and saved it (as .csv) it didnt work.... but yours indeed worked... is there a specific way you are saving it?
I am using Office Excel

I'm glad it worked. :)

I'm using OpenOffice. Open it with a text editor to see the format it has and try to achieve that when you save with Office Excel.

Open the s2member-import.csv I posted above in a text editor like NotePad and see how it's formatted. Try to achieve that formatting when you export your CSV file with Excel. Run some tests so you get familiar with the import tool and see what errors you get, what works, etc. Let me know if I can help you further.
