I would like to be able to control who signs up for an account -

1.) when someone signs up- account confirmation is sent to my email - then I can authorize and confirm the account manually ?

I looked through the forums - is this possible ?

You mean have the account inactive until you review it and activate it yourself?

s2Member doesn't do that, but you could search for a WP plugin that does and see how it gets along with s2Member. Since the account creation is mostly handled by WP, not s2Member, there's a good chance that you could achieve it that way.

ok Ill try it .. how about Register Plus Redux ?

I remember someone here mentioned having tried that with success, I don't know more than that.

I also found Register Plus that lets you moderate registrations according to the description. http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/register-plus/

Please let us know if you try either one and how it went.

yah - this kinda of goes with my other post - looks like its conflicting with reg-plus redux - reg page but I like alot of the features they have such as password strength .
