Establishing Secure Page

Postby marketbizpro » May 2nd, 2011, 12:08 pm

I have used the force ssl custom field for a page yet I can't yet establish a secure page. I'm finding that every link in the code has https: EXCEPT the link to wikipedia explaining the security code...Is there a way to fix this? It seems that everything else is secure. This is created using the paypal pro forms.

<span>Card Verification Code ( 3-4 digits ) * <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Card_security_code" target="_blank" tabindex="-1" rel="external nofollow">need help?</a></span>

Thanks for your inquiry.
The Wikipedia is not available over SSL. What you're seeing is the intended behavior, and should have no impact on the ability for your site to operate in full SSL mode; since that is simply an external link to another site. You said, "I can't yet establish a secure page". Can you explain that further please?

Thank you for answering. I also service my support forum, so I understand how answering support questions take away from developing! I don't think I will br encountering this problem since I have given up on trying to use your Paypal Pro forms to integrate with my non-Paypal Pro account. I was trying to use your forms even without a Paypal Pro account and I ran into too many issues.

My real concern now is a different post here regarding idevaffiliate and cancellations/refunds...which I see you have answered so I am going to try now!

Again, thanks.
