Pages being protected that shouldn't be

Hi!
I emailed a campaign through MailChimp. It included a link to my About Page (which is an unprotected page). When I clicked the link in the email to test it, it will not allow the user to access the About Page. It is redirecting them to the Membership Details Page (where they can sign up). Furthermore, once a user gets to the site via this link from the email, they are still not given access to the About Page. Why?http://www.primothemes.com/forums/posting.php?mode=post&f=4#

Hi Christina. :)

What kind of protection did you use for the About page?

That's what's weird. There's no protection on that page that I am aware of. I didn't write any ID numbers on the level 0 page access restrictions.

Yeah, it's weird.

Could you please tell me what the ID of your About page is and post screenshots of your access restriction panels?

I think you're a genius!
I didn't realize I had "all" written in the Post Access Restrictions!
I just tested it and it works!!
Gracias and Happy Cinco de Mayo!

me again = (
Well, it was working. I don't get how it can work one minute and then not the next. It's very frustrating!
The same thing is happening My About page is being protected.
I tested out with another dummy email and after I opted in it protected the About Page. Now, once I register as a free access member it let's me see the About Page.
Also, the link from the welcome email was redirecting to the membership details page again.
Here's the info you asked me for.
About page ID is 2

Hey Cristian!
I realize I'm bugging you quite a bit!
If this would be easier handled on the phone, please feel free to call me.
This going back and forth is time consuming.
I wasn't able to send a private message. IF you want to, message me and I'll reply with my digits. Thanks.

Hi Christina. I don't do phone, but I do forums. ;)

Thanks for the page ID, if it's a page (as I had thought) why did removing the "all" in post access restrictions solve it? It's not a post.

Could you please post the screenshots of the access panels and attach them to your post here, or upload them to your server and provide a link to them?

Another question: what other plugins do you have installed?

Hey!
I'm not sure why it worked then, but it sure isn't now.

I have never protected the About Page.

"My Page Order" is another plug in.

I also have Optimize Press installed and have the About Page set as the redirect.

You know, one day it works, the next it doesn't. It's moody = )

Well, I doubt it's PMS lol, so we have to find the setting/conflict that's causing this weird behavior. :)

Your screenshots aren't showing. Are you uploading them in the attachment tab of the post page here? Otherwise upload it to a page in your website and post the link, please.

Could you try, also, deactivating the My Page Order plugin and see if that solves your problem? just in case it's conflicting with this.

Sorry about that.
OK, I uploaded them this time.
I went ahead and deactivated My Page Order and tested the site and email link that wasn't working before.
At first it didn't work, then it did a few minutes later.
Am I crazy?
We'll see what tomorrow holds......
Have a great weekend.
Have I said thanks for helping me out lately?....thanks!

Thank you for the images.

It may be a cache thing. Clear your cache or try another browser you haven't used for this yet and see if it's working properly. Hopefully it was that plugin conflicting and we found the problem.

You are very welcome. :)
