I'm having issues with my members options page...If I set this to any page when logged out and I try to navigate my pages I'm sent right to the members options page...If anyone navigates to my site they automatically sent to members options page...only 2 of my pages are protected...weird..

Thanks.

Yeah, weird.

Could you please post screenshots of all your access restrictions panels from the General Options? WP Admin -> s2Member -> General Options -> Access Restrictions (Post, Page, Category, Tags, URI)

Could you also tell me the ID of some of the pages that send you the Membership Options Page and shouldn't because they're not supposed to be protected?

Thanks!

I just set it so if you hit a page that is restricted you should go to the contact page....

ok...So here's the update:

Here is the site: http://www.vinitasalomeblog.com/demo/

Right now the above link will take you to the contact page not the home page...not sure why? The only way I can get to the home page is if I'm logged in...

You can't access my protected pages which is good...but still the issue with not access the home page...

http://www.vinitasalomeblog.com/demo/ryanmuntz/ - protected page.

Thanks and let me know?

I know...I've done about 4 installs of this plugin and have never had this issue...

http://d.pr/RIty

There are no restrictions set...

Also, it will not let me (admin) view a specific user page when done setting custom capitbilitites, when inside wp editor...ugh...

Hmm...

Could you explain what you did, step by step, to set up the portal? What you configured, changed, added, etc. Maybe something there is causing this trouble...

#0 Set up login welcome page http://d.pr/FHRm
#1 Created a page and changed the slug to start the portal - http://d.pr/Sxwh
#2 Added Page Level Restrictions and named the custom capabilities (see above link)
#3 Added a new user and made the username same as slug... http://d.pr/oQb0
#4 Set up custom capabilities (same as slug, username)

All works great when user enters site...goes right to page I created...love it...
They will enter their portal here http://d.pr/lLD8

In the sidebar I set up some links (two are really important links) which are client web home and client proofing...

#1 When I click on client web home <a href="http://vinitasalomeblog.com/demo/[s2Get constant="S2MEMBER_CURRENT_USER_LOGIN" /]"target="">Client Web Home</a> - It works great, stays on the clients login welcome page....

when I click on Client Proofing <a href="http://vinitasalomeblog.com/demo/proofing[s2Get constant="S2MEMBER_CURRENT_USER_LOGIN" /]"target="">Client Proofing</a> - This takes me to that contact page too...I did set up the client proofing page with the S2member Level 1 and custom capabilities and changed slug to /proofingryanmuntz similar to login page...

If I don't set the members option page, this will all work but anyone can view the page....I set this up just the video suggested...hope this helps...

Thank you very much for taking the time to tell me what you did.

OK, I only see one thing that may be wrong, but maybe you set it up that way on purpose: I see a slash missing in your example.

Is the proofing URL suppost to be /demo/proofingusername or /demo/proofing/username?

Yes,,I set it up that way...it works great if the members options page is not set!

The more important issue is why can't visitors access my homepage?

Thanks...I really need to know this...thanks..

@Wesleysoccer, what page is your Login Welcome Page sent to redirect to? If you set reset it to blank does that fix your problem?

If i set it to no page it will allow anyone to access my protected pages...but yes If I set it to no page it will work fine but pages will not be protected...

here is my protected page http://www.vinitasalomeblog.com/demo/ryanmuntz/

I set it to level #1...you should not be able to access this page...I turned off my options page...take a look.

Do you know what else is strange...When I'm in pages there is no reference to which pages are protected - I'm missing this - http://d.pr/H81n
