AWeber and Upgrades

I have s2Member integrated with AWeber, so signing up at a certain level subscribes members to a certain list in AWeber. This isn't working for upgrades, though.

For example, a free member is a member of the FREE list. They upgrade to a paid level, and they should then be subscribed to the PAID list, but that isn't happening. If a non-member signs up on the paid level, though, they do get subscribed to the PAID list.

How do I make it so level upgrades also moves members to the new list?

Thanks,
Alyssa

Hi Alyssa. :)

Try here WP Admin -> s2Member -> API / List Servers -> Automate Un-Subscribe/Opt-Out -> Anytime s2Member changes a Member's Access Level# thru a Subscr. Modification.

I hope that helps.

Don't forget!

*Regarding AWeber®* these will NOT work for AWeber® until you add a Notification Email to your AWeber® account matching the "EMail From Address" configured in s2Member -> General Options -> EMail Configuration. This is a required step if you want s2Member to be authenticated properly when it automatically emails List Removal requests to AWeber®.

It's been a while since I visited this issue, but I can't get it to work properly.

I have two lists - free and paid. Both lists are set up properly in the API->List Servers section to integrate with Aweber -- it subscribed people to the appropriate lists at sign up. The problem is, users are not removed from lists if they downgrade or subscribed to new lists if they upgrade.

I've checked the boxes in s2member and made sure the correct email was listed as a notification email in Aweber, but it still will not work. Any advice?

Could you post a screenshot of your WP Admin -> s2Member -> API / List Servers -> Automate Un-Subscribe/Opt-Out please?

Ah, I see. There have been improvements to the List Server API in releases after that version. You should update to the latest s2Member. To be safe, first remember doing a backup of your website and making sure you have Deactivation Safeguards on.

Hi Cristian - I updated s2member, but now neither process is working with Aweber (neither free signups nor upgrades are going through to Aweber). I checked the settings in both s2member and they are the same as they were before I upgraded.

Is there a modification I need to make somewhere else, too?

Here is a screenshot:

Never mind on this! Apparently, there was something in my theme that wasn't jiving with the s2member update. I updated the theme and now everything seems to be working beautifully.
