Download Questions

My version of s2member has blocked downloads from unrestricted users, but for my users that are premium members, when they click on the links to download their content, it says the content is unavailable. the link goes to a blank browser screen. the files are in the s2member files directory and I'm using the specified link setup. I don't have any subfolders in the s2member files directory...can anyone help me?
