Is Quick Cache Good "Out of The Box"?

Hi all - I'm curious if Quick Cache is set to work optimally with S2Member "as is" or does it need to be tweaked somehow? I'm mainly interested in anything that could reduce the load on my shared hosting account (Bluehost) Though, I have no idea what would need to be changed or if Quick Cache would help. I occasionally get a message that my websites have too many simultaneous "threads" and my hosting company puts my site into the doghouse for a period of time, slowing down the websites loading speed - and I presume - file download speed.

Thanks - Ryan

Hi Ryan. Thanks for the excellent question.
Nothing to tweak really. s2Member and Quick Cache should work together seamlessly with a default installation/configuration. In fact, s2Member contains internal references that guide Quick Cache ( and other standardized caching plugins for WordPress ), just so there are no surprises.

If you are currently running WordPress without any cache plugin enabled, then definitely. Adding Quick Cache will give you HUGE speed increases, and should alleviate the "simultaneous threads" issue as well; since each connection to your site will take less time to complete.
