I upgraded to pro today and moved the pro folder into my plug-ins directory (newest version downloaded from s2member site minutes ago).

I get a warning box stating I need to upgrade to most recent version os s2member pro, listing the same version i just installed. If I try to upgrade automatically, I just get the same warning and none of the pro features are funcitoning.

Screenshot attached
site is enlscourse.org
wordpress version 3.13

thank you so much for your help

Cristian, thanks so much for helping with this. The result is the same. S2member activates beautifully, s2member pro keeps asking for me to update to newer version.

Oh, ok. Those are fine.

And I just saw the screenshot with the notice you get, it's showing the release candidate for the coming version, which right now is only available for testing to Unlimited Sites lincesees. It should have displayed the message to you, I'm sorry about that.

You can not pay attention to it, your s2Member Pro 1.5.8 is probably properly installed, you can verify it looking at the bottom of your s2Member navigation, there should be an s2Member Pro Info entry.

I hope that helps. :)

Hmm... that's really odd. Did you upload the s2member-pro directory to /wp-content/plugins/?

OK, thanks. :)

Since you showed me that, can I ask for another screenshot of your FTP client with the s2member-pro directory open?

OK. Thanks. I just confirmed that s2Member.com is reporting the correct stable release of s2Member Pro v1.5.8. The only reason you should get a warning about 110524RC, is if you have the RC release of the free s2Member Framework installed.

Please make sure you download the latest stable release of s2Member v3.5.8, which works with s2Member Pro v1.5.8. Both of these stable releases are made available inside your account at s2Member.com. It sounds like you might have downloaded the RC release inadvertently. If you went to PriMoThemes.com and got the latest version there, you probably got the RC release. If you're a Pro Customer, please download the versions made available inside your account at s2Member.com. Sorry for any confusion.

Solution, uninstall your existing copy of s2Member, it appears to be the RC development version.
Re-install s2Member v3.5.8 and s2Member Pro v1.5.8.

That worked the trick, yeah! The original files I installed were from my "Your Product File Downloads" area, so I'm not sure how RC got there, but who cares b/c all is well now. Thanks for the help of both of you.
