Will s2member work with fastspring? I am looking for a processor (like CB) that handles salestax.

No, it doesn't. It's integrated with the gateways mentioned here http://s2member.com.

I'm sorry, no new gateways are planned for a while, so you'll have to look at having that developed for you if you really need it.
