Just loaed s2member for 1st time - not protecting page

Hello,
I just installed the s2member plugin for the first time using the video tutorial as a guide and followed the simple instructions without a hitch. However, after I protected a page at level 0 it does not take me to the Membership options page. I'm using the proper id. I should mention that I am using the permalinks "/%postname%/" custom structure parameter.
Any clues as to whats wrong?

Never mind...
I'm an idiot. I was clicking on the page link while I was logged in so I didn't think it was providing me with page protection. Once I logged out and tried to access the page I was taken to the membership options page.
