Download Problems with Free Key

Hello,

I've been having an issue downloading files from the s2Member-files folder with the advanced free key that allows non-members to download the file. It is really confusing what the problem is and I have tried all sorts of configurations to figure it out, and with no luck.

I have about 9 files in the folder and they are .zip files (I have tried changing them to .pdf files as well to no avail) and when I try to download any one of them through the free key download link, it just downloads a small 'part' of the file that doesn't even open, that is essentially empty. So it connects to the file but doesn't download it at all.

It does work with 1 file, and that is a .zip file with the same name structure in the same folder and that is 10.47 MB. The other files that I am trying to download are 16MB all the way up to 100MB. None of those files work.. only the 10.47 MB.

The strange thing is that all these .zip files downloaded fine before on a previous version of s2Member in the exact same configuration, same pages and everything. So I dont' know if I should reinstall s2Member or what. The other thing I did was upload new versions of all the .zip files because the files needed editing, but other than that everything is the same.

Any ideas what the problem could be? Any help at all would be greatly appreciated...

After hours of wasting my time on this, it turns out the problem is to do with the w3c Total Cache plugin that I had working. I emptied all caches and disabled the plugin and now the downloads work. However at the same time I had edited the php5.ini file and added a max timeout setting set to 0, under the advice of previous threads in this forum with simliar issues.

So now it works so far, if it doesn't I'll update this thread again.
