Ensuring login screen is clear

I have an issue, on password reset.

After e-mail confirmation, I click on link and system provides a "system generated password " which is e-mailed to me. I click on the login link and the wp log in screen is presented to me . The issue I have is that the screen has username - blank - good. The password field is filled and has to be deleted before entering in the new one, which is very annoying, is there any way of ensuring this field is cleared, so that user is presented with blank log in screen before entering in their username and new password.
