Caching appears to be working for Firefox and IE, as I see the following message at the bottom of the returned page:
<!-- This Quick Cache file was built for ( david-moss.com/ ) in 37.43537 seconds, on Jun 4th, 2010 at 1:19 pm EDT. -->
<!-- This Quick Cache file will automatically expire ( and be re-built automatically ) on Jun 4th, 2010 at 2:19 pm EDT -->
<!-- +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ -->
<!-- Quick Cache Is Fully Functional ... A Quick Cache file was just served for ( david-moss.com/ ) in 0.77954 seconds, on Jun 4th, 2010 at 5:46 pm UTC.
However, this text does not appear on the page for the latest version of Google Chrome 5.0.375.55 (on Windows XP Pro), and the page loads more slowly than in the other browsers. I've tried clearing the Chrome browser cache, but still see the same behavior.
Could Chrome be excluding the comments since they come after the closing HTML tag? Is there any other way to verify if the cache is working?
