I can log initially after doing this... then I cant. I then go back into firebug and the value is still there!

How to I save the deleted value?

Where are you deleting the value at exactly? On your computer? If so, be sure to upload the files via FTP once you've saved changes. Otherwise, let me know where you're editing the file and we'll help you out.

Thanks Eduan but what he is talking about in this video makes zero sense to me... I dont understand any of it.

I just need my clients to be redirected to the login welcome page but cant get rid of the hidden value.

In firebug, I have gotten rid of the hidden value... do I then copy the edited HTML?

If so, where does this new HTML code go? Sorry I have no clue... I'm a total dunce at this.

Well in order to edit files on your server, you will either need to use a file manager provided by your hosting company's server control panel, or you'll need to be familiar with FTP, so you can edit files locally on your computer and upload them to your server. http://filezilla-project.org/

What you change in Firebug is just to test, doesn't affect the actual files in your server. Firebug does show you where the code you're editing actually is, so you can go with your FTP client, look for that file an edit it there, which then will change what happens in the website for everyone.

If you really have no idea how to do this, then I suggest you study a bit more about it or get a freelancer developer's help to achieve it. Try http://jobs.wordpress.net or http://elance.com

I did eliminate every single entry with the redirect over wp-login.php and still not working.
I have even installed a redirect login page plugin but neither work.

What is happening that you can't explain?

And, where exactly in the Dashboard please? On the Profile page? Or elsewhere? Also, is the account you've tested with a Member? If so, at what Membership Level please?

It sounds like the User/Member who is testing has administrative rights?

I see. s2Member will NOT redirect anyone who has the edit_posts Capability.

Create this directory and file please:
/wp-content/mu-plugins/s2-hacks.php

Could you post here the code exactly as you have it in the s2hacks.php file? Also, are you testing with your admin account or the contributor one?

My fault, sorry!
I'm accessing as contributor, but I did create the folder over the wrong instalation.
But, I did correct that and try again and received the following message:

Fatal error: Call to a member function has_cap() on a non-object in /home/sergiob3/public_html/dtfc/wp-content/mu-plugins/s2-hacks.php on line 5
