I have created a custom field for Postal Code. The field is NOT required, but I have selected the Expected Format to "US/Canadian Zipcode".
When users do not fill in the Postal Code field they have a popup telling them they must provide a valid postal code!
Please advise!

Unfortunately I do not have a fix for you but I am experiencing the same issue and wonder anybody else has been able to come up with a work-around other than setting the format to "Anything goes".
